nearly 15 years veteran DJ/Producer/Composer SPEEDY has pushed the
boundaries with his DJ sets, sonically reminding listeners of the
journey which he strives to remain apparent. Weather its upbeat
electro-tech energy, deep funk-defied house or his signature
hypnotic dark techno; SPEEDY, like a seasoned film director, guides
his listeners through their own screenplay in theie mind. This DVD
is a result of SPEEDY’s own screenplay which has been sitting in his
subconscious from relentless viewings of his favorite Euro-Horror
and Italian Giallo films from the 70’s and 80’s. |

terrifying dark and brooding electronica DJ mix includes selections
from underground techno kingpins such as Marco Carola, Zzino, Stanny
Franssen and Terence Fixmer. As far as the films, genre legends
Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci, Mario Bava and Sergio Martino among
others provide the ultra-violent nightmarish images from cult
favorites such as Suspiria, The Beyond, All the Colors of the Dark,
House with Laughing Windows and 12 other euro-horror classics. |

After
the well received euro-horror bloodbath “The Colors of Darkness”,
SPEEDY returns with another DVD tribute to Italian exploitation cinema
backed by his signature hypnotic DJ mixes.
“Electro Euro-trash” pays homage to the “Giallo film”. Style, sex,
drugs, psychoanalysis and ultra violence are the key ingredients of
this underground genre which shocked European movie goers in the early
1970’s. Renowned for its outrageous plots, the Giallo (“yellow” in
Italian) usually involves young, beautiful euro-babes being stalked
and killed by black gloved maniacs usually for the most outrageous of
motives. |

Some
call it sleaze, some call it trash, yet film buffs call it cinematic
art as well as an obvious inspiration to some of America’s top
grossing horror and thriller movies. With the current DVD boom many of
these rare titles are becoming available uncut for the first time
depraving minds all over again (according to the MPAA) to those who
are willing to open them. |

Phantasmagorical images reflecting the drug frenzied 60’s and 70’s is
